Joshua Altamura, son of Redding Civic Auditorium’s Theatrical Director, is to appear on Episode 3 of Food Network’s Chopped Junior on Wednesday, March 22nd at 5pm PST.
Joshy has performed as Thomas of Warwick in the four time Tony award winning show Camelot and more recently as Tiny Tim in Christmas Carol, A Love Story both at the Redding Civic Auditorium.
Joshy has had a passion for cooking since the age of 8 and currently works at Tantardini’s European Bakery and Deli. He attends Bethel Christian School, loves hanging out with his friends and playing soccer.

Originally from England, Joshy, 12, moved to Northern California when he was 8 years old. He learned to cook Italian food from his Italian family, and he’s even mastered cookies, biscuits and cakes. Despite being a bit of a control freak in the kitchen, Joshy likes to cook with his friends. He dreams of becoming both a chef of a Michelin-starred restaurant and a soccer player, even though that sounds like a crazy combination.
