The Shasta College big band will be performing their Winter Jazz concert on November 16, in the Shasta College theater at 7:30pm. The Jazz Band, under the direction of Dan Neece, will play a variety of Jazz standards and dance tunes to include: Latin, Swing, and pop/rock favorites. This hour long concert will feature several soloists playing a wide variety of big band favorites including arrangements by Dizzie Gillespie, Thelonius Monk and Gordon Goodwin. The band will also feature an arrangement written by band member Paul Senn.
