Dick Dickerson
SACRAMENTO – Assembly Republican Leader Connie Conway, of Tulare and Assembly Republican Leader-Elect Kristin Olsen, of Modesto, today issued the following statement upon learning of the passing of Former Assemblyman Dick Dickerson, age 77, who served in the State Assembly from 1998 to 2002:
“As a city councilman, county supervisor and State Assemblyman, Dick Dickerson was a true champion for the North State. During his career in public service, he worked hard to build more above-ground water storage, improve services for veterans, and protect the public safety of all Californians. We join with our Assembly Republican colleagues in mourning Dick’s passing, and send our thoughts and prayers to his wife Betty, and his children and grandchildren.”
