OK, so my beloved Boston Celtics flamed out in Game 7 of their playoff series against the Orlando Magic and get a long rest until next season. I’ll recover from the blow. Eventually.
Orlando vs. Cleveland should be a great matchup featuring two of the NBA’s brightest young stars — Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard for the Magic and Most Valuable Player LeBron James for the Cavs. I wouldn’t want to be standing anywhere near the basket when those two collide. In the West, it’s the up-and-down L.A. Lakers against the surging Denver Nuggets.
I’ll stop watching these playoffs when you pry the remote control from my cold, dead hand. Or, when they’re over (sometime in August?), whichever comes first.
