What: Tax Assistance at Redding Library
When: Feb. 3 to April 14, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Redding Library, Community Room B
From February 3rd to April 14th, the AARP will be offering Tax Aid at the Redding Library. Volunteers will assist seniors, disabled and low-and middle-income people to prepare both Federal and State tax returns.
Please bring all W-2’s, 1099’s, statements, a picture i.d., Social Security Card and last year’s tax return. Also bring property tax statements, Stimulus payment information and any other pertinent documents.
Returns will be E-filed.
AARP representatives will be in Community Room B on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00 am-1:30 pm.
Some State and Federal tax forms and booklets are available for pick-up at the Redding Library. More are expected at the end of the month. Links to irs.gov and ftb.ca.gov are on the Shasta Public Libraries’web-site for those with internet access.
