The public is invited to Shasta College for its inaugural Community Day on Thursday, October 8, at the Redding Main Campus. The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting at the newly remodeled Social Sciences building and lecture hall (800 building). Following the ribbon cutting there will be a self-guided walking tour for guests to:
-Meet students stationed at tables and in various locations central to the campus to explain about academic programs, clubs, and services
-Visit newly remodeled buildings such as the library (200 building) and Veterans Center and hear about future upcoming projects
-Witness the transformation of the campus grounds and connect with the Shasta College community.
