The Carr Fire: A Redding Firefighters View

Shasta Environmental Alliance Meeting Featuring Redding Fire Fighter Jamie Harvey.

 Redding Firefighter Jamie Harvey will talk about the Carr Fire with photos and video clips he took while fighting the fire from Whiskeytown to Redding. One of these videos he shot is a very tense chair gripping drive he had to take through Swasey Drive with the fire on both sides of the road. He has many photos and video clips to show and will explain the progress of the fire from Whiskeytown to Redding.

Mike Jones from Streams and Greenways Alliance (SAGA) will present a summary of the issues of concern about the Dignity Health Complex near Henderson Open Space. North State Climate Action is a new SEA supporting organization and will be introduced. The public is welcome to attend this free and interesting program which will end at 7:30 pm. This meeting will be at the Redding Library Community room starting at 6 pm, Monday January 14.
