Chico Police Department released a statement and they’re asking for your help:
“We started receiving calls from Paradise residents asking about the status of their residences.

Information has been released in a social media format stating they have current information, which is not true.

We are asking for people to stop calling as it is inundating our communications center. Cal Fire or Butte County Sheriff will provide this information at some point.”

The burn suspension remains in effect in Butte County. If you are found to be burning illegally you are subject to citation. @CALFIRE_ButteCo strongly urges residents to refrain from burning as the air quality is already at dangerous levels.

The #CampFire is affecting these water systems: Big Bend Mobile Home Park, Gran Mutual Water Company and Blue Oak Terrace Mutual Water System. The @CaWaterBoard, the Division of Drinking Water & @BC_PubHealth have issued boil water advisories for customers of these systems.
