    Unmentioned by the press release is the fact original investigators behaved so badly courts repeatedly denied them qualified immunity (a rarity!).     Too bad this POS got to run free for 40+ more years. No telling what harm he did to others over those decades. I'm betting "life without parole" will amount to less than 5 years, based on that photo.
