Live Music in the North State: September 22 – 28

 

With the arrival of autumn, our outdoor concert programs are dwindling, but the Sunset River Jam is still going on. The big entertainment news for this week is the 2021 Redding Roots Revival on Friday and Saturday, featuring both local and touring acts.

 

Wednesday, September 22

Billy and the Jets with Dusty Foster at Sunset River Jam in Anderson at 5:00 pm.

Open Mic at Fratelli’s Pizza in Redding at 6:00 pm.

The Coyotes at the West Side Grange in Red Bluff at 7 pm.

Steve Hermann at Three Shastas Bar in Redding at 7:30 pm.

 

Thursday, September 23

D.M. James at Sweetspot in Redding at 6 pm.

Open mic at Mt Shasta Brewing Co in Weed at 7 pm.

 

Friday, September 24

Redding Roots Revival in Redding from 5 pm until 8:30 pm. Hal Johnson

Born and raised in Ventura County, Hal Johnson moved to Shasta County in 1994. After a 38 year career flying helicopters, he can now sometimes be spotted around the North State singing and wrestling his guitar into submission.
