• If you received your first COVID-19 vaccination during the mass vaccination clinic on January 16 in Redding, you can get your second dose Saturday, February 13, at the Shasta District Fairgrounds in Anderson. This will be a drive-through clinic. Please arrive by last name: A-G, 10-11:30 a.m.; H-M, 11:30-1 p.m.; N-S, 1-2:30 p.m.; and T-Z, 2:30-4 p.m. Bring your CDC immunization card that shows the date of your first vaccine. Other second dose options will be available soon.

• Some of our biggest jumps in cases were in the 14 days after Christmas and Thanksgiving, due in part to gatherings of extended family and friends. We need to keep our guard up so this doesn’t happen again. Don’t turn your Super Bowl Sunday into a super spreader event! We encourage you to keep your celebrations safe – stick to your own household, keep it short, wear masks and stay 6 feet apart.
