Parolee Arrested Near School

On September 14, 2017 at about 8:07 a.m., the SHASCOM-911 Dispatch Center received as many as 6 calls reporting a white male adult in the 500 block of North Market Street exposing himself and committing lewd acts in public. Off duty California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Phillip Moyer observed the crime occurring and contacted and detained the male until Redding Police officers arrived. The male was identified as Daniel Fauston BONNIE 27 years of age of Redding. BONNIE is on parole out of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for robbery. The area where BONNIE was arrested is in close proximity to the Turtle Bay School campus. However, BONNIE couldn’t be seen from the campus itself. BONNIE was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail for indecent exposure and for violating the terms and conditions of his parole.
