Shasta County has lost some notable music venues in recent months, with California Brewing Company, Cafe Paradisio, The Savory Spoon, and Bodega Bay closing their doors. I did get some good news this week, when I learned that a former employee of Cafe Paradisio bought the establishment and reopened, with live jazz on the weekends.
Thank you to all of our local venue owners who keep live music going in the North State, and thank you to our local musicians as well.
