SINTF Investigation Leads to Arrests in Anderson

On August 13, 2014 at about 7:30 A.M., SINTF agents were assisted by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Investigative Team in serving a Shasta County Superior Court Search Warrant at a residence located in the 6400 block of Deschutes Rd. in Anderson, CA.

During a search of the residence and surrounding property agents seized; in excess of about 30 pounds of processed marijuana, products containing marijuana, 95 marijuana plants being cultivated in an outdoor garden site, 27 marijuana plants being cultivated in a shed along with 105 clone marijuana plants, 11 rifles, three handguns, and US currency believed to have been derived from the sales of marijuana. Agents determined that the “River City Collective” was being operated out of the residence.

As a result of this investigation, Walter William CARNEY JR., with a date of birth of 3/16/1967, from Anderson, CA, was arrested for criminal conspiracy, cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana, committing a felony while armed with a firearm, and opening or maintaining a place for trafficking in controlled substances. Jerilyn Rose CARNEY with a date of birth of 4/11/1977, from Anderson, CA, was arrested for criminal conspiracy, cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana, and opening or maintaining a place for trafficking in controlled substances. Estevan RODRIGUEZ JR. with a date of birth of 7/3/1969, of Anderson, CA, was arrested for criminal conspiracy, cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and transportation of marijuana.

The three listed subjects were later booked at the Shasta County Jail on the listed charges. This case remains under investigation.
