On 8-10-2014, at 1600 hours, Deputy Jerry Fernandez located Michael Miceli riding a bicycle on Shasta Dam Blvd. Deputy Fernandez recognized Miceli from security camera footage he had viewed from a burglary to the Knauf fiberglass plant. Knauf has been broken into several times over the past two weeks, and showed a loss of over $50,000.00 in wire and supplies. Deputy Fernandez questioned Miceli regarding the break in at Knauf and recognized a tattoo on Miceli’s calf from the surveillance footage.
After further investigation, evidence linking Miceli to two other commercial burglaries at the Sierra Pacific Mill in the City of Shasta Lake and J.W. Woods, were located at Miceli’s residence. Total loss in the three burglaries was in excess of $122.000.00
Miceli was booked for commercial burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
