Tehama Trail Makes Touring Farms and Tasting Local Food Easy

You want to attend the 4th Annual Tehama Trail Passport Weekend – an agricultural tour across Tehama County – but you don’t feel like driving. Whether you’re single, a couple or a family of four, the guided tour is the perfect option for you. The Tehama Trail shuttle service departs at 10 am Saturday and Sunday from the Tehama Country Visitor Center located in Red Bluff, and returns at 5 pm.

Your tour guide will fill you in on local agricultural history while you kick back and enjoy sweeping views of vineyards, olive groves, walnut orchards, oak woodlands and wide-open spaces. Along the route you’ll have a chance to meet the farmers who grow your food, browse art and other hand-crafted items, and you’ll sample fresh veggies, juicy fruits, a variety of nuts, artisan olive oils and vinegars, grass-fed meats and fine wines.

The 4th Annual Passport Weekend is June 7 and 8 from 10 am to 5 pm. All tickets include free sampling at each location and a trendy tote bag. Guided tour tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $60 each.
