Redding Rancheria’s Largest Fundraiser Taken Over by Boas, Glitter & Diamonds

Fall River Joint Unified School District

More than 400 community members came together and helped our Burlesque Themed Celebration for the 2012 Redding Rancheria’s “A Year to Remember” annual fundraiser dinner held on Saturday, March 3rd.

“I wondered how we would surpass last year’s theme of Decades, but this event was truly the most successful fundraiser dinner we have had raising approximately $38,000 for the Redding Rancheria Community Fund. We are grateful for the continued support we receive from the community in growing this beneficial fund,” said Maria Orozco, Director of Public Relations for the Redding Rancheria.

Trinity County Office of Education

During the Burlesque themed dinner, two additional gifts of $5,000 were awarded to The Trinity County Office of Education and The Fall River Joint Unified School District.  The Executives from The Redding Rancheria & Win-River Casino performed “Show Me How to Burlesque” as the entertainment of the evening.

All proceeds from Saturday’s dinner will go to benefit the 2012 RRCF. The Redding Rancheria Community Fund (RRCF) has designated funding in 2012 towards any local non-profit organization in Shasta and Trinity Counties. The RRCF has donated over $1.8 million since its inception in 2002.  Twenty-eight local schools received funds in 2011 totaling more than $110,000.
