With regular City Hall closures as part of an ongoing furlough program, residents who normally pay bills in person may wish to take advantage of electronic payment options.
The next scheduled closure of City Hall is this Friday (September 9). The closures affect all departments within City Hall, including the Utility Customer Service Center, as well as the Recreation Offices on Parkview Avenue.
Electronic utility bill payment options include the Automatic Payment Plan, which allows customers to pay their bills through electronic funds transfers. Customers also may pay bills each month individually through the Redding Electric Utility web site. More information is available at www.reupower.com.
A complete list of the Friday furlough dates through 2011 is available on the city’s web site at www.cityofredding.info.
