Siskiyou Arts Council Gallery, at 418 N. Mt. Shasta Blvd., opens Lynn Wasser’s show, “Luminest,” with a reception on Friday (September 2), from 5 to 8 p.m., and welcomes the public to this free event to meet the artist, enjoy refreshments and Lynn’s unique artwork. This show runs August 30 through September 17. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lynn describes her works for the show as being inspired by her collection of birds nests. They are all mixed media using acrylics, inks, metallic pencils and pens on hard board.
