4-Year-Old Needs Bone Marrow; Are You a Match?

What: Be the Match Foundation holds a drive-up screening to find a bone marrow match for Brayden

When: Wednesday (Feb. 2), 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: AT&T parking lot, 4434 Mountain Lakes Blvd. (off Oasis Road), Redding

Four-year-old Brayden is in desperate need of a bone marrow donor, said organizer Josselyn Carter, who grew up in Redding with Brayden’s mother, Jen. The family now lives in southern California.

Be the Match Foundation has set a drive up for Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 7 am – 3 pm in the parking lot for AT&T’s service vehicles, at 4434 Mountain Lakes Blvd.

The screening process should take about 10 minutes. Donors must be between 18 and 60 yrs old. They will be asked to sign a paper and swab the inside of their mouths.
