Salvation Army Seeks Bell Ringers

It’s that time of year again: fall is in the air, the leaves are dropping and we are all gearing up for the holidays.  Unfortunately, the harsh reality for many Shasta County residents is that they will not be able to enjoy this holiday season, let alone a holiday meal.  The local Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign will begin the day after Thanksgiving.  The organization still needs bell ringers to help the community.

With the help and partnership from the community, last year’s holiday Red Kettle Outreach was met with success. The Salvation Army was able to provide holiday assistance for over 4,800 people in Shasta County.

Volunteers can sign up this year by downloading a volunteer form from the website http://www1.usw.salvationarmy.org/usw/www_usw_delorodiv.nsf/0/BF2D426F495420BA882577C30060C4C5/$file/volunteer%20form.pdf or calling Sylvia for more information @ (530) 222-2207, extension 18.
