What: A free, women’s self healing mind/body series.
When: Every Thursday in October, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: Downtown Redding, inside Spa Shoppes, corner of Oregon and Butte Streets.
Workshop series led by Cheri Davis, a Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher and Mind/Body Awareness Guide.
“The intent of this fun and explorative series is to help women access deeper levels of love within themselves,” explained Davis. “This is perfect for women who feel like they want a little more for themselves internally or for women who may be feeling a little dulled, numbed or hardened to themselves.”
In her many years as a wellness practitioner, Cheri has witnessed how many women aren’t yet awakened to their own inner love. “Typically in this society we teach people to look outward for love, beauty and serenity. That is why I was drawn to offer these mind/body workshops on going deeper within oneself.”
Through the yoga of conversation, breathing, dance and play, Cheri’s focus will be to guide women to experience the place within themselves where they feel the shine of their vibrant soul. “It is this inner place where we feel like a goddess!”
A rundown of each week is as follows:
Week #1 Yoga of the Mind: Conversations for self love & inner freedom.
Week #2 Yoga of Breath: Self healing through breath work.
Week #3 Yoga of Dance: Freestyle flow.
Week #4 Yoga of Creativity and Play: Create yourself as a divine work of art!
The series is limited to a total of 8 women and although the series is free, pre-registration is required. Cheri points out that this is not a drop-in series of workshops. “Each week builds upon itself for the next week; I highly recommend attending all 4 classes.”
The series is held within Cheri’s space at Spa Shoppes in the historic McCormick mansion in downtown Redding each Thursday in October 6:30pm to 8pm.
