My daughter is hosting David Wax Museum in a house show in Sacramento on Sunday night.  Lively Americana-Mexican folk music—kind of a mix between Shovels & Rope, Carolina Chocolate Drops, and a norteña/mariachi banda.  Go see ’em on Friday night at The Dip!

I hadn’t heard of David Wax Museum, other than vaguely remembering them being written up in No Depression magazine. Teenager transportation duty kept me away from The Dip tonight, but after checking out their YouTube videos, I downloaded Guesthouse, their latest. Good stuff.
