Dr. Shruti Aggarwal is a family practice physician who believes in sharing the decision-making process with her patients. In order to make a difference in their lives as they pursue better health, she practices empathy. She also incorporates alternative medicine wherever appropriate, and focuses on treating patients the way she’d like her own family to be treated. She earned her medical degree from Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi and completed her residency in Family Practice at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama. Her post-graduate residency, in Family Medicine, was completed at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Surrounded by underprivileged children in New Delhi, she became particularly committed to providing needed medical care and assistance to the community.
Dr. Aggarwal says: “I believe I am making a difference in the lives of my patients and that I can be a positive part of their lives, especially in times of poor health and sometimes fear. Family practice takes care of all age groups. As a family practice doctor, I am the first contact for any specialty, and being focused and attentive is hugely important. It’s why I always pay close attention to each patient, talking to him or her and more importantly, listening. It makes a difference in each patient’s care. And in his or her overall health.”
