The Whole Earth and Watershed Festival takes place at Redding City Hall and the sculpture garden Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

With a multi-act outdoor festival, perennial local favorites, popular touring acts, and a new music venue arriving on scene, it promises to be another great week for live music in the north state.

Wednesday, April 19

In Paradise, the “Open Mikefull” group hosts an open mic at the Norton Buffalo Hall. Signups at 6:45 p.m. This open mic normally happens each Wednesday evening. All ages. 5704 Chapel Drive in Paradise.

Open mic at Mason’s Pizza in Bella Vista, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by Richard Bersbach and the Deschutes Music Club. This open mic normally takes place on the first and third Thursdays of each month. All ages. (530) 549-4554.

          Great “talking” to you too, Gary. Although 95% of my flight time is in helicopters, I’ve always thought Caravans were cool as heck. I understand they’re no fun in icing conditions, though.

            The Fedex 208’s all have tis systems now so yes now its alot more manageable now yes the booted version were not very friendly!! and we have Garmin 600,530 430 avionics and the garmin 200 with real weather like watching the wx channel so life is easier for sure!
