These are crazy and unpredictable times.  I love this illustration of where we are today.

Timely illustration, are we going to be really surprised if we ever see ‘his’ tax returns ?  I want to see the tax returns of a couple of our local State and Federal legislators, one who rarely comes to Redding and one who tends his rice fields while receiving subsidies and voting to deny Food Stamps to his own constituents in need.

From 1995-2014 California rice farmers received $2.7 billion in subsidies.  For comparison in the same 1995-2014 period, all Wyoming farmers and ranchers received a total of $800,000.  Easily found on the farm subsidies several websites.  Rice is a large water user while many Wyoming farmers get lease money from wind companies.

    HEAR, HEAR, FRANK!

  4. Antonia Walker says:

Thanks! We think Trump should release his tax returns just as every president before him for the past 40 years has done. As Americans we should know what the personal financial interests of our president are.

To explain the post above, the Russian phrase “Lock him up”  in cyrillic alphabet was replaced by question marks via newscafe’s filters.

  7. A. Jacoby says:

Oh Richard . . . the was funny. Gotta LOVE spellcheck. The cyrillic alphabet makes question marks in my brain, too!

Regarding the tax returns:  I just want POTUS to come clean.  He could even do it via Sean Spicer:

“No, President Trump will not be releasing his tax returns—not ever—and not because of the audit. The President is a thin-skinned egomaniac, and his tax returns are embarrassing. Don’t hold your breath.”

If that were to happen, I’d be fine with not seeing them.
