    Hal:

Do you know if someone has recordings of Barry Hazle’s shows? It would be fantastic if KKRN continued presenting them. His shows were wonderful. He will be greatly missed!

  2. Hal Johnson Hal Johnson says:

K., I know that NSPR did an hour-long tribute to Barry, but I’m not sure if his past shows have been archived. Hopefully someone in the know will weigh in on that.

In the meantime, here’s the link to the Barry Hazle tribute:

    • K. Beck says:

Thanks, Hal. I heard the tribute, but I will listen again. There was a LOT there! And thanks for finding out about “Shasta Serenade” on iTunes. I am going there right now!

  3. Hal Johnson Hal Johnson says:

Yo K., I just learned that Barry’s “Shasta Serenade” is available on iTunes.

  4. Joanne Lobeski Snyder says:

I was crazy about both Barry and Chris.  They were like no  other people  as far as talent, knowledge,  skill and more importantly their efforts  to share great music with the whole north state.

  5. LeRoy says:

We  will surely miss these two guys.  Loved the Great shows at Gray Pine in Oak run that Barry promoted!

Chris would come to the Jams at Lulu’s and bring anything from his odd looking Elec. Bass to a conch shell and sound great  no matter the instrument.  Both were Great promoters of quality music in the Northstate  and will be missed.

Condolences to the families and thank you for sharing them!
