      I didn’t have to go far.  I spotted the unfolding drama in the sky above my house. By the time I went inside, grabbed my camera and came out again, the eagle had landed, determined to “make his stand” in a nearby tree.  In the end, the ravens flew off.

    Great pic, Jim. Karen and I saw a similar encounter out at Whiskeytown at the Davis Gulch trailhead. Raven and Eagle sat for a time very close together atop a snag with Raven doing all the talking.
