Free Public Seminar: “California’s Marijuana Laws: Past, Present, and Future”

“California’s Marijuana Laws: Past, Present, and Future” will be the subject of a free public seminar on Saturday, October 29 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the UPEC Headquarters, 1800 Park Marina Drive in Redding.

Redding attorney Samuel C. Williams will lead the presentation. He will discuss the appeal process when someone is cited for growing marijuana, Proposition 64 (the Marijuana Legalization measure on the November ballot), as well as other issues.

A question-and-answer session will follow his presentation. This event is being sponsored by the Shasta-Tehama-Trinity County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California as well as the group Shasta County Citizens for Democracy (SCCD).
