Updated: Silver Alert Issued for Missing Adult

UPDATE: During the afternoon of April 5, 2016, Morris Davis, 94 years of Redding, was located and returned to his residence safely. The Redding Police Department would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at approximately 10:33 AM, the Redding Police Department received a report of a missing elderly person. The missing person, Morris Davis, 94 years, of Redding is described as 5’8”, 180 lbs., with grey hair and brown eyes. Davis was last seen driving his vehicle from his residence in north Redding to a doctor’s appointment in central Redding. He did not arrive at his doctor’s appointment and his whereabouts are unknown. His vehicle is described as a white, 2000 Toyota Corolla four-door sedan, with California license plate 4MEZ627.

At the time of this press release, a “Silver Alert” has been issued through the California Highway Patrol. The “Silver Alert” has been distributed to numerous Northern California counties.
