The Shasta Regional Community Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of a new online scholarship application platform. In collaboration with College Options, the George Grotefend Scholarship, and The McConnell Foundation we are now offering an online application that will allow students to apply for scholarships from all participating organizations. The program will allow students to import information from one application to the next. Our goal is to make the process more efficient for the students and increase their access to funds available for college.
The applications can be accessed through the Community Foundation website at www.shastarcf.org/scholarships . Students are invited to click on “Apply for a Scholarship,” create an account, and begin searching and applying for scholarships for which they are eligible.
Available scholarships from the Community Foundation for the 2015-2016 school year include:
Andy Allison Scholarship, Balma Family Scholarship, CRTA Division 16 Scholarship, Donna Borlaug Citizenship Scholarship, FWF ’62 Scholarship, Glen Hawk, Sr., Scholarship, Ivy B. Horr Medical Loan, Jim Cusick Memorial Scholarship, Ken Putnam Choral Music Scholarship, Kohn Family Scholarship, Matt Solus Memorial Scholarship, Shasta Natural Science Scholarship, Siskiyou Jr. Golf, The Kelly Moravec Academic Encouragement Scholarship, Top of the State Jr. Golf Scholarship, William C. Garcia Scholarship, and the Women in Medicine Scholarship.
All applications must be submitted online by Thursday, March 5th at 8:30 p.m. PST. No paper applications will be accepted.
