On 06/25/2014 at 1933 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 3818 Main Street in Cottonwood for a just reported stabbing. Callers reported seeing two victims with visual wounds inside the trailer park. Upon arriving at scene, Deputies attempted to make contact with the suspect who had barricaded himself inside a trailer. After an approximate two hour standoff the subject exited the trailer and was taken into custody without incident. Suspect was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment and was medically cleared before being booked in Shasta County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Both victims were transported to Mercy Hospital and treated for their injuries.
