KRCR’s ‘Daybreak’ Starts Even Earlier

As of Monday, May 13, the north state’s dominant morning news broadcast, KRCR’s Daybreak, is starting just a little bit earlier – now at 5 a.m.

KRCR News Channel 7 is the Northstate’s favorite place to watch morning news, and now the early risers can get their morning fix of fact-based, reliable news coverage, as well as first alert weather forecasts every weekday from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.

“Over the past several years it has become clear, as more viewers wake up to KRCR Daybreak than ever before, that there is a great demand for more local news from our outstanding team,’ said News Director, Jennifer Scarborough.

Andrew Stewart, Vice President and General Manager of Bonten California said, “KRCR continues to expand the way it benefits its viewers. We’ve expanded our Chico coverage, launched a 10pm newscast on FOX20, became the first local news to broadcast to in HD, and now we’re continuing to expand our value to viewers.”
