Oh, sure. To you it's a cool sign. That does not change the fact that there are zillions of non-tenants who would love to park here but are being denied the chance by big corporate money and nothing for them. Yes, it is true the government gives tons of money to that parking lot, who will go out and squander it on more empty boxes.
Well, I'd say your interpretation of my "Study: Rusted Sign on White Pole" isn't far off the mark, but I'd like to add that there are other layers at play. The rust represents the faded beauty of America, one pristine and shiny and now pock marked and dented, while at the same time presenting the rule of law and its tarnished message. It's even fair to say the exclusive and harsh nature of the language is undermined by its obvious advanced age. How seriously should the message be taken if it isn't even being kept up?
Plus...rust is cool.
Well said, Matt!!! Very cool sign and I'm glad you captured it. And RUST IS COOL!!
Hmmm, Matt. Are you describing the country or some of we inhabitants . . . ?
I'll leave that open to interpretation. But to be honest, I just loved the rusted look.
Rust I can handle . . it's my hinges that need oiling!
