Redding’s Garden Tract Neighborhood Celebrates National Night Out

What: National Night Out
When: Tuesday, August 2, at 7 p.m.
Where
: The front yard at 620 Lincoln Street, Redding, CA 96001

National Night Out is Tuesday, August 2nd, and for residents of Redding’s Garden Tract neighborhood, that means a party at 7 p.m. in the front yard at 620 Lincoln St.

Get to know your neighbors. Come join the fun.  Bring a fruit or snack tray, dessert, or soft drink to share and a lawn chair.

In the past, council members, Redding Police Department officers, a shiny fire truck and a helicopter have appeared to make our gathering more festive.

All Garden Tract residents are welcome to come. See you there! (If you’re not a Garden Tract resident, please click here to see where the party is in your neighborhood; the Redding Police Department released its list of all NNO parties open to the public today, Aug. 2.)

Around the world last year, approximately 37 million people in 15,110 communities celebrated National Night Out. Here in Redding, numerous block parties were organized. All citizens are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and join their neighbors outdoors.
