Redding Man Arrested After Alleged DUI Hit & Run

On July 19, 2011, at 0206 hours (2:06 a.m.), officers of the Redding Police Department were called to the 1300 block of Willis Street for a report of a vehicle collision that had occurred there. When officers arrived, they found a silver BMW had collided with two parked cars and a mailbox, and the driver had fled the area on foot.
Officers caught up to the driver two blocks away. The driver was positively identified by two witnesses to the collision.
Josiah Aaron Spurrier, 30, of Redding, was arrested on suspicion of hit and run (20002(A) VC), driving while intoxicated (23152(A) VC), and providing false identity to police officers (529.3 PC). He was booked at Shasta County Jail.

I AM SURE, that there must have been some police brutality
involved here? why would an officer chase an innocent man?,
two blocks? He just got confused, and scared so he ran
, that is why
he showed the officer the wrong I D. BRUTALITY, PROFILING,
ENTRAPMENT, which was it? One of the three i am sure, or at least
a NOT GUILTY PLEA.
