What: Mercy Hospice Offers Coping with the Holidays Grief Workshop

Mercy Medical Center Redding Hospice Services will be hosting the annual “Coping with the Holidays” Grief Workshop. The public is invited to attend this free evening of support and guidance.

The holidays can be a difficult time for individuals who have experienced the passing of a family member or friend. This workshop will help identify and find meaning in the grief process, as well as offer information and suggestions for coping with loss during the holiday season. Ray Hemenway, Mercy Hospice Chaplain, will facilitate the workshop along with local experts. Participants will be provided with the resources and information to help them along the way.

The FREE workshop will take place at Mercy Oaks in the Shasta Senior Nutrition Programs Dining Room, which is located at 100 Mercy Oaks Drive, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2010.
