What: Muletown String Band Pumpkin Stomp Barn Dance

When: Oct. 30; 5-6 p.m. line dancing lesson; 6-9 p.m. dance and eat to the tunes of the Muletown string band.

Where: Old School in Old Shasta (299 West and French Alley)

Cost: $10, tickets are available at the door

Costume encouraged so pull on your boots and your western-mining-harvest-barn dance get-up!

Assorted pumpkin treats, soup and sandwiches will be for sale.

This event is a benefit for the Shasta Service Guild. Proceeds will bring water to the Shasta-Middle Creek Mining Camp Park.

   Who is that playing fiddle? This sounds like fun.

   That's Kate Busey on fiddle. Tracy Manual on percussion. Muletown String Band is my favorite band, too!
