What: Lassen Volcanic National Park Art and Wine of Lassen Event on Fee Free Day

When: Sep 25, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center, Lassen Volcanic National Park

Lassen Volcanic National Park announces park concessionaire, California Guest Services, will host Art and Wine of Lassen September 25 at Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. that coincides with National Park Service fee free Public Lands Day.

Art and Wine of Lassen will feature free local wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres, art exhibits with demonstrations, and live music. The Café and Gift Store will be open for regular business 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participating wineries include Mt. Tehama Winery, Indian Peak Vineyards, Ringtail Vineyards, Alger Vineyards, Shasta Daisy Vineyards, Cedar Crest Winery, and Lassen Peak Vineyard.

Photographers Phil Friesen and Jim Gregg along with painters Sally Posner, Michael Kerby, and Debbie Gossner will be on site to share their work, experiences, and sign purchases. Basket weaver Debbie Norton will provide demonstrations. All artisans will have their work on display and available for purchase.

Music provided by harpist Lauren Sharkey from North State Symphony and jazz musician Pat Karch.
