What: Art in the Park 2010 at Mt. Shasta City Park

When: Aug 21, noon to 5 p.m.

Where: Mount Shasta City Park

Vendors will have arts and crafts for sale, face painters will decorate, musicians and belly dancers will perform and poets will recite at the 2nd Annual Siskiyou Arts Council Art in the Park event.

Our entertainment schedule:

* 12 noon: Panther Creek Bluegrass Band
* 1:30 pm: Daughters of the Moon bellydancers
* 2:00 pm: Heidi Goebel and Ahnee, poetry
* 2:15 pm: Chick Music
* 2:45 pm: Mountain Gypsies bellydancers
* 3:00 pm: Chick Music will resume
* 4:00 pm: Wild Blues Yonder

Food and drink available at Art in the Park 2010:

* barbecued hamburgers

* hot dogs
* “not” dogs
* watermelon
* corn on the cob
* peanut butter & jelly
* beer
* wine
* soda

The Siskiyou Arts Bus will be at Art in the Park, despite the damage done by vandals. Art activities will be available for children, and grown-ups can come learn about the “Adopt-a-Window” program and other fund raising opportunities to help repair the bus and fund the afterschool art programs.
