The Dance Project will audition singers and dancers for its new season, which will include A Cascade Christmas and The Sound of Music.
Auditions for actors and singers for A Cascade Christmas and The Sound of Music will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday (August 19 and 20) at The Cascade Theatre in Redding.
Auditions for dancers ages 13 and older for A Cascade Christmas will be held at 9 a.m. August 21; Auditions for student dancers 4 1/2 feet tall and shorter will be at noon August 21.
Singers should prepare a musical theatre piece that best shows off their voices and are encouraged to sing somthing from The Sound of Music score. An accompanist will be provided. Dancers should wear dance attire and all women should bring character shoes.
