Jethro Jeremiah is a veteran singer-songwriter who has played music throughout Northern California, including such festivals as Mountain Aire and New Orleans By the Bay. He was born in Mendocino, California and was raised in Maryland and at The Farm, Tennessee, one of this country’s oldest and most successful communes.
Jethro grew up in a family that loved to sing, and he began performing in plays and musicals when he reached high school. He moved to San Francisco around the age of twenty, and that’s when he first started writing songs. Jethro’s distinctive music often has a reggae feel, while his vocal stylings reflect a lifelong interest in soul and R&B. He and his band have showcased at The Great American Music Hall and Slim’s, among other San Francisco venues, and he and his band have delivered impressive performances at festivals throughout California and beyond.
