Thank you for remembering the Vietnam Vets who served our country. I served in the Navy, Medical Service Corp at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. I will never forget the 5000 vets who were sent to this west coast amputee center. Being young and naive when I joined, the memories of those injured and passed away will be with me always. I appreciate your efforts to keep the public and especially our youth aware of this event since many do not even remember Vietnam today.

It’s a shame we didn’t hear more about this. As a wife of Vietnam Veteran Marine I would have definitely planned on attending this gathering with my husband. As it is have other obligations that I cannot get out of. I am very proud of the people fin this area for finely stepping up to the plate and recognizing all of our veterans. Thank you Veterans for your sacrafices and may the honor you so deserve find you in your everyday lives. God Bless You All each and every day
