Igo Inn Spaghetti Feed, Pie Auction, Benefits Bennor/Buck Boys

What: The Igo Inn Spaghetti Feed and Pie Auction
Why: A trust-fund benefit for the late Rich Buck’s young sons, Spenser and Harrison.
Sponsored by: The Igo/Ono Community, organized by Patricia Glanzer, Brad Maloney and Roy Maloney.
When: 5 p.m., Fri. Aug. 28
Where: The Igo Inn, 13976 South Fork Rd., Igo, Calif.
Donation: $7.50 per plate
Menu: Spaghetti, salad, bread pudding and garlic bread. (To-go boxes will be available for those who can’t stay and eat at the restaurant.)
Why: A show of friendship and support for chef Rich Buck’s widow, Chris Bennor, and their young sons. The family purchased the Igo Inn in March, invested about $100,000 in improvements in the building, and was ready for the grand opening Aug. 19. Rich Buck died suddenly a few days before.
What else: Money tree. “The community is just aching for them,” Brad Maloney said. “We just want to do something to help.”

Kelly, What a great fund raiser for a deserving family. It is my hope that a great number of people support these folks.

This family and this event will be in our prayers and thoughts ! What a shock and terrible loss ! I know the community will be supportive….we have seen it so many times !
Take care…wish we could be there or help in some way !
