What: Ceramics Lessons at Turtle Bay
Ages: 9 to adult
When: July 18, 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Turtle Bay Exploration Park’s Judy Smith’s classroom
Art Teacher: Rosie Orwig

FIRST SESSION:
Rosie Orwig will demonstrate coil and slab methods to make creative mugs, plates, platters, dinosaurs, or how to use your own imagination to create your own artistic pieces from clay. Techniques of texture, design and etching in clay will be discussed.
SECOND SESSION:
Ceramic creations will be glazed Saturday, Aug. 1.
Finished clay projects will be available for pick-up Aug. 8 though Aug. 15 at the Turtle Bay Visitor Center.
Space is limited. Call 242-3108 to pre-register by July 10. For ages 9-adult.
Members $40, nonmembers $55. JSS Classroom in Visitor Center.
