Fifteen papier mache masks by artist Thomas Wold are on display through Sept. 30 at the Redding Library.
The masks are in the Foundation Reading Room, first floor, 1100 Parkview Ave. in Redding.
Wold’s website says he also will display new masks in the library lobby from Oct. 13 until Nov. 3, in honor of el Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, which is Nov. 2.

    Hi, Kelly:

Thanks for the nice write-up about my masks!

I would never have seen it if my wife ,Tanya, wasn’t so skilled with the internet!

She ferreted it out and showed it to me this evening.

I like the photos–they are much better than the ones we took with our ;one-use camera. Now we have a digital camera and will do better!

The room we used was very nice and we appreciated the chance to show my work.

    Best wishes,

    Tom Wold
